Sailing the Rock-Perched Towns of the Cinque Terre

Perhaps one of the most charming coastlines in all of Europe, the Cinque Terre offers a picturesque conglomerate of fishing villages nestled in the hills along the Italian Riviera, just north of Tuscany. This incredibly romantic Experience is ideal for couples, so join our Local for a private experience that will leave you breathless. You’ll get to admire the Cinque Terre from a sailboat, cruising on crystal clear waters to beautiful bays and small islands while sipping wine, and enjoying a tasty aperitivo on the deck!

We will anchor in a couple of bays and ports along the way so that you can walk through some of the villages and take in this paradise of steps, tiny streets, quaint shops, fascinating homes, balconies, terraces and cafes. One of the stops will be timed around the lunch hour so that you can explore and pick a place where you’d like to have lunch on your own. During the course of the boat ride you may feel free to take a dip in the inviting water as many times as you like.

According to our Local, reaching the towns by sailboat is truly the best way to see the Cinque Terre. Not only do you get an incomparable view of the rock-perched towns, seeing them by boat spares you the headaches of trying to drive through the villages (a nearly impossible task) and the stress of unreliable train timetables.
