Hike and Picnic in the Italian Alps
Hike and Picnic in the Italian Alps
Cuneo, ItalyCall For Price Full Day
Our Local, who grew up in Cuneo and the surrounding mountains will be happy to show you the natural wonders of the Italian Alps from his perspective. Embrace the local spirit and pop into a market and salumeria to buy a local panino, cheese, fruit treats, and beverages to be ready for lunch with a “picnic al sacco.” Make a quick stop at the cafe for a cappuccino and brioche and then you’re off on an adventure to discover the magnificent and breathtaking landscapes of the Alps, from the foothills to the mountain peaks.
This is a medium-level hike in the cool, refreshing mountain air where you can expect to come across wildlife, hillsides blanketed in wildflowers, and countless breathtaking photo opps. During the hike, you will explore the old trails made by the military and, depending on the season, you can even do some mushroom picking or, if you are feeling brave, jump in the ice-cold water of the mountain lakes.
To finish the Experience, if you wish, you can stop to grab a beer with Gerri and just relax after an unforgettable day.
