Crafting Your Own Beer with John
Portland, OregonCall For Price 1/2 Day
Coming to Portland and interested in beer? Why not give homebrewing a try? With over 50 microbreweries and brewpubs, the city has earned its title of “Beervana.” Almost all of these establishments have been founded and are run by former homebrewers. While brewery-hopping can be fun, the best way to learn about the process of commercial beer-making is to make your own.
Join our Local, John, who has been making beer for several years now. He will work one-on-one with you and teach you first-hand about each ingredient and step of beermaking. Due to the nature of the process, this Experience must be booked a month ahead of time. Make sure you also indicate which variety of beer you would like to make (remember the flagship beer of Portland is India Pale Ale) and, upon your arrival John, will have everything ready to go—and there will be ice-cold samples made ahead of time. Of course, to go with cold beer, there must be some good food; therefore a delicious pub-food dinner will be prepared for you especially for the occasion.
Unfortunately, VoomaGo will not be able to ship your beer to you out-of-state, but you can take as much of the pre-brewed beer with you as you like, to enjoy for the remainder of your stay in Oregon.
