Enchanted Italy in the SpringMay 24 - June 6, 2019

Week One

Rome – The Italians call it the Eternal City and it must be visited. Thousands of years of history often layered upon itself and easy to witness everywhere you turn. We will spend a couple of days in the city to see the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, the Coliseum, the Roman Forums, and Piazza Navona. We will also leave the touristy crowds for a day to adventure to Tivoli and to walk around Villa D’Este and Villa Adriana and enjoy the local cuisine at a restaurant with one of the most stunning views in Italy.

 

Experiences & Activities

Stay in Rome at a boutique hotel – Skip the line tours to the Vatican and Colosseum – Day trips   & Sightseeing  – Special Private tour to see the collection of Rome’s ancient maps.

 

Week Two

Abruzzo – Nature at its best, situated in the heart of the Gran Sasso National Park with medieval towns and castles, this region will enchant you. The locals have great pride about their hospitality and slow food culture!

Stay in a castle –  Visit to Loreto Apruntino – Biking country side excursion with wine tasting and lunch – Making spaghetti alla chitarra with Nonna Antonietta- Hiking around Rocca Calascio – Relaxing surrounded by incredible nature

Emilia Romagna – Home of the most recognized Italian icons such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Balsamic Vinegar, Parmesan Cheese, Tortellini, Lambrusco and much more, this region is the crib to the Italian gastronomy.

LOGISTICS

Start your travel from the US on May 22nd to arrive the following day. Arrive on May 23rd in Brindisi (airport code BDS). Schedule your return flight on June 6th out of Bologna (airport code BLQ).

Trip Insurance

Protecting your trip and vacation is very important as a variety of events could cause a financial loss before or during the trip. We require proof of Travel Insurance Coverage through our partners (Squaremouth) – their policies are built accordingly to your needs and concerns. The cost of a policy depends on: the cost of the trip, your age, the length of the trip, any pre-existing conditions, and the amount and type of coverage.

Flight Insurance

We recommend you buy travel insurance for your flight at the time you book your airfare as most coach class are non refundable but changeable with standard airline fees.

Please note, flight insurance is separate and only covers your flight. Let us know at the time of booking if you have any pre-existing conditions that may require better comprehensive coverage.

To keep the group small and intimate, space is limited to 8-10 travelers. In order to book your spot a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per person is required. (Your deposit will apply toward the balance)
