Jan. 13, Travel from the USA on a red eye flight to San Jose Costa Rica (SJO) arriving between 7 and 8:30 am on January 14th, 2023. We will drive to Uvita for about 3 hours to check in at the Villa early afternoon. We spend seven nights checking out on Jan 21st to drive back to San Jose. We stay one night by the airport to catch morning flights back to the USA. We fly out on Jan. 22nd. Best connecting flights are via LAX on Delta.
In Costa Rica ground transportation will be provided, breakfast and one meal a day (Lunch or dinner depending on the experiences planned) will be included. Also included experiences, guides, gas and tolls and Antimo as your guide, driver and private chef.
NOT included are: Flights, Hotel in San Jose on January 21st, taxi, alcohol past the first drink, and gratuity (between 8-10%)
Jazmin and Antimo have several things in common. They both grew up close to the ground growing organic food one in Costa Rica and the other in Italy. Since an early age they both learn how to cook on an open fire and to respect the produce they ate. They both make cooking so easy and packed with flavor.
Now, Imagine cooking with both of them in the middle of the jungle as you enjoy an extraordinary lunch in an idyllic setting perched high above the ocean. Jazmin is a woman full of heart and joy de vivre who pours every inch of her passion into the food she prepares. Incredible food organic farm to table food cooked to perfection on open fire and “made with love.”
We will walk in her garden to learn about the medicinal property of many herbs, trees, fruits, blooms and will harvest what we need for our cooking class. If we are lucky we get to talk and hang out with her mother who is a respected local medicine woman.
